BREAKING PIZZA NEWS!!! ... Chickpea Based Vegan GF Pizza Crust 🤩

Ever craved a pizza, but stopped yourself from having one because you were trying to stay healthy or watch what you eat? Yeah… let’s stop with this whole dieting thing and start making our favorite dishes with plant-based alternatives that are totally guilt-free and super delicious. You no longer have to eat “leaves” to stay healthy. You can still eat pizza and feel fantastic afterward! Below we have a recipe for my new Vegan GF Pizza with a new twist... chickpea-based crust! 😍

What You'll Need for This Journey...

  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Red Onions
  • Green Peppers
  • Mushrooms
  • Vegan Cheese
  • Black olives and whatever else your heart desires.

The How To For the Pearly Gates of Pizza:

  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of chickpea flour and 1 cup of water.
  • Add salt and pepper then mix it all together until it has a nice battery consistency.
  • Pour 1 tbsp of olive oil on a hot pan, and pour 1 ½ ladles of chickpea pizza doe batter. Let it cook for 3 minutes on medium heat and then flip it on the other side for the same process.
  • The latter will form a “pancake” looking crust. This will be your pizza crust.
  • Once it’s ready, put the crust on a pizza tray and add tomato sauce in the middle and in circles begin to spread it out, leaving a little room in the edges.
  • Now is the time to fill your pizza up with veggies! Have fun with it, make it look nice, and get creative 😛. The fun thing about this recipe is that you can always make different types of pizza with different toppings and different kinds of vegan cheeses. The more the merrier!
  • If you want to add plant-based meat to make a supreme pizza (if you have a hardy hub with you like mine), such as finely cut plant-based vegan sausage/hot dog, now is a great time!
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and place the pizza in the oven for 15-20 minutes (or until the cheese is melted).
